NATIONAL NEWS: An Of Global Interest trekker, Julie Rutkowski (Nepal tour, April 2005), was recently highlighted on NBC Nightly News on November 8, 2005. Below is a link to the very SHORT segment about baby boomers in search of spirituality. The video footage from Nepal (aired on NBC!!!) was taken by me. If you listen carefully you will hear my voice saying, "There's that smile" or something silly like that... :) Julie was a prize trekker who accomplished great altitude - with attitude of course. I will never forget celebrating her birthday in Namche (11,355 ft) with German chocolate cake and birthday candles too. Happy Birthday, Julie!
